Knife Fight movie scene

Rob Lowe gets political in Knife Fight.

Rob Lowe (TV’s Parks and Recreation), Richard Schiff (Seven) and Jamie Chung (The Hangover Part II) star in the 2012 political thriller film Knife Fight.

Paul Turner (Lowe) is a savvy strategist sharply maneuvering politicians out of scandal and into public office. With the help of a bright young assistant (Chung) and his team, Turner spins every news cycle on behalf of his clients, which include a philandering Kentucky governor (Eric McCormack,  TV’s Will & Grace) and a blackmailed California senator and an idealistic doctor turned gubernatorial candidate (Carrie-Anne Moss, Memento, The Matrix series). When the ugly side of Turner’s work begins to haunt him, he learns that even in the bloodiest of battles, sometimes you have to fight clean.

Directed and co-written by televisiondocumentary veteran Bob Guttentag, Knife Fight also stars  Julie Bowen (TV’s Modern Family).

Knife Fight comes to DVD following a tiny, unenthusiastic run in theaters in January, 2013.
