Action legends Sylvester Stallone (Bullet to the Head) and Arnold Schwarzenegger (The Last Stand) in the action-filled 2013 prison break thriller Escape Plan.
In the movie, Stallone is Ray Breslin, one of the world’s foremost authorities on structural security, who agrees to take on one last job: breaking out of an ultra-secret, high-tech facility called “The Tomb.” Deceived and wrongly imprisoned, Breslin must recruit fellow inmate Emil Rottmayer (Schwarzenegger) to help devise a daring, nearly impossible plan to escape from the most protected and fortified prison ever built.
Directed by Mikael Håfström (The Rite), the R-rated Escape Plan garnered only so-so notices from the critics, earning a 5.3/10 rating at Rotten Tomatoes based on 103 published reviews. It received equally average attention at the domestic box office, ringing up some $26 million at the U.S. box office following its wide release to theaters in October, 2013.
Still, it’s Sly and Arnold, so there’s bound to be some fun to be had!
