Robert Carlyle and Oyanka Cabezas in Carla’s Song

The film is a politically inclined romance about a Glaswegian bus driver (Robert Carlyle, Trainspotting) who meets and falls in love with a Nicaraguan refugee (Oyanka Cabezas). Moved by her plight, he travels with her to a conflict-torn Nicaragua, searching for her former lover, who has disappeared in the chaos of that country’s savage civil war.

The movie features cinematography by Barry Ackroyd and a musical score by George Fenton, which is featured on the Twilight Time release as an isolated track.

As supplier Twilight Time prints up only 3,000 copies of each title, the time to preorder your Blu-ray discs directly from distributor Screen Archives is NOW!
