Grau (Omar Sharif, Juggernaut) finds himself focusing on three suspects: the Generals Tanz (Peter O’Toole, Lawrence of Arabia), Kahlenberg (Donald Pleasence, The Great Escape) and Seydlitz-Gabler (Charles Gray, Diamonds Are Forever) – all three of whom, it seems, are also involved in a plot to kill Hitler.

The movie was shot by the great Henri Decaë (Le silence de la mer) and features a score by Maurice Jarre (The Train), available on this Twilight Time release as an isolated track.
