Adapted for the screen by Evan Hunter from one of satirical “87th Precinct” mysteries that he penned under the moniker of Ed McBain, Fuzz concerns a Boston police precinct that proves itself to be armed, dangerous and borderline-incompetent as they tackle the case of a mysterious extortionist who is scheming to assassinate a prominent city official.

Kino Lorber’s Blu-ray edition features an audio commentary  by director Colla moderated by filmmaker Elijah Drenner and a “Trailers from Hell” installment with Josh Olson.
