In the comedy Punching Henry, a journeyman comedian (Henry Phillips, Punching the Clown),  is lured to Los Angeles by a TV producer who wants to make him a reality star. As reality sets in, he must decide whether his legacy will be to tell jokes for a living or become the butt of them.

The film’s oh-so-comedic cast includes stand-up comics Tig Notaro, Jim Jefferies and Doug Stanhope, as well as Clifton Collins Jr. (Pacific Rim), Sarah Silverman (I Smile Back) and J.K. Simmons (Whiplash).

Punching Henry received nice notices from the critics during its limited rollout in February, 2017, garnering a 91% Fresh rating at Rotten Tomatoes based upon 11 published reviews.

Directed by Gregori Viens, the Blu-ray edition of the movie includes  deleted scenes and two behind-the-scenes featurettes as bonus features.
