Jake Gyllenhaal (Nocturnal Animals), Rebecca Ferguson (The Girl on the Train) and Ryan Reynolds (Deadpool) star in the science fiction-horror thriller Life.

The story is simple in an Alien-ish sort of way: A team of scientists aboard the International Space Station discover a rapidly evolving hostile life form the quickly sets itself free from its confines, grows to an alarming size, and then threatens the crew and all life on Earth.

Also starring Hiroyuki Sanada (The Wolverine), Ariyon Bakare (Rogue One), and Olga Dihovichnaya (House of Others), the film was directed by Daniel Espinosa (Safe House) and written by Deadpool screenwriters, Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick.

Life received some respectable notices from the critics, garnering a 68% Fresh at aggregator Rotten Tomatoes based on 198 published reviews.

The Blu-ray, DVD and digital releases of Life include deleted scenes, three behind-the-scenes featurettes and the never before seen “Astronaut Diaries”.
