Norman:  The Moderate Rise and Tragic Fall of a New York Fixer stars Richard Gere (Arbitrage) as the title character, a quintessential New Yorker who has spent his life looking for that one big break.

Norman Oppenheimer (Gere) lives a lonely life in the margins of New York City power and money. Norman strives to be everyone’s friend, but his incessant networking leads him nowhere. Norman ends up befriending a young but charismatic politician Micha Eshel (Lior Ashkenazi, Footnote ) at a low point in his life. Three years later, the politician becomes an influential world leader.  Flush with his newfound feeling of success, Norman attempts to use Eshel’s name to leverage his biggest deal ever: a series of quid pro quo transactions linking the Prime Minister to Norman’s nephew (Michael Sheen, Kill the Messenger), a rabbi (Steve Buscemi, Ghost World), a mogul (Harris Yulin, End of the Road), his assistant (Dan Stevens), and a treasury official from the Ivory Coast.

The first English language film from writer/director Joseph Cedar, a two-time Academy Award nominee (Best Foreign Language Film, 2008 Beaufort, 2012 Footnote), Norman also includes Josh Charles and Charlotte Gainsbourg in its cast.

An official selection at the 2016 Toronto International and Telluride Film Festivals. Norman includes such special features as a Q & A with director Joseph Cedar and actor Richard Gere and red carpet interviews with the cast and crew.
