From Alan Mak and Felix Chong, co-writers of The Departed and director of  Infernal Affairs, comes the 2017 action-filled Hong Kong crime drama film Extraordinary Mission.

Huang Xuan (The Interpreter) stars as Lin Kai, an undercover officer assigned to penetrate the Twin Eagles drug cartel. To gain cartel boss Eagle’s (Yihong Duan, White Deer Plain) trust, Kai is forced into gradual drug addiction while attempting to locate the cartel’s production base. Stakes are further complicated when Kai realizes Eagle has been plotting a violent revenge against his supervisor Li Jianguo (Jiadong Xing, The Last Women Standing) for over a decade.

Presented in Mandarin with optional English subtitles, the well-received production holds an 83% score on Rotten Tomatoes and was a certified smash hit at the Chinese box office.
