Based on a true story, The Ritual (2025) follows two priests, portrayed by Al Pacino (Scarface) and Dan Stevens (Abigail), as they perform a week-long exorcism on a young woman, Emma Schmidt, in a 1928 Iowa convent. The film depicts the harrowing supernatural events during the ordeal and explores the internal struggles of the priests, particularly the younger, skeptical priest (Stevens) as he confronts his own personal demons and the power of faith.

Directed by David Midell and also featuring Ashley Greene (the Twilight saga), this one is new to us (and lots of other people as it was produced in 2025). Our biggest question is what’s Al Pacino doing here!?
