20th Century Fox apparently can’t get enough of partying. After celebrating its 75th anniversary last year with such high-profile Blu-ray releases as the Alien Anthology, The Rocky Horror Picture Show and The Sound of Music, the studio just launched a new year-long celebration. During the next 12 months, Fox will be running the “A Year of a Million Moments” DVD and Blu-ray campaign, giving fans the chance to win prizes including $1 million.
Each month, Fox will release themed Blu-ray and DVD movies labeled with the “Great Movies. Great Moments” moniker.
The DVD and Blu-ray packages will be marked with a code that can be entered in the Year of a Million Moments website for a chance to win the $1 million grand prize.
But fans also can go to that website to vote for the Best Movie Moment, based on the 16 films released each month. Those votes will give fans the chance to win, as Fox says, “a package of some of the most iconic and memorable movies from Fox.”

January: movies to shine
February: movies you love
March: movies to laugh about
April: movies kids love
May: movie for mom
June: movies for heroes
July: movies to sing about
August: movies to remember
September: movies that are unforgettable
October: movies that terrify
November: movies that are classic
December: holiday moments
Any guesses what the movies will be? We guess The Sound of Music will be one for July and Alien in October.
