Another romantic comedy from James L. Brooks, who also brought us Spanglish, As Good As It Gets and Broadcast News, How Do You Know arrived on DVD and Blu-ray on March 22, 2011, from Sony Pictures Home Entertainment.
The movie’s cast is fully familiar with the genre: Reese Witherspoon of Pleasantville, Owen Wilson of Wedding Crashers, Paul Rudd of Dinner for Schmucks and As Good As It Gets Oscar winner Jack Nicholson.
In the film, Witherspoon plays Lisa, a softball player who evaluates her life after she’s cut from the USA team. She finds herself in a love triangle with a playboy baseball player (Wilson) and a corporate guy (Rudd) in crisis with his father (Nicholson) and the law.
Rated PG-13, How Do You Know grossed $30.2 million in theaters. The DVD was priced at $28.95 and the Blu-ray at $34.95.
