TNT’s fun and smart con-man TV show Leverage returned to DVD
Described as a crime drama, the television series is really much more: action, romance, mystery and a splash of comedy.
Timothy Hutton (Oscar winner for Ordinary People in 1980) stars as Nathan Ford, the leader of a group of grifters who use their talents to right wrongs. The group also includes Gina Bellman (British TV’s Coupling), Christian Kane (TV’s Close to Home), Beth Riesgraf and Aldis Hodge (TV’s Friday Night Lights). The third season also featured Jeri Ryan, who stars in the ABC show Body of Proof.
In the 16 episodes included on the DVD, the team break Nate out of prison, expose a child slave-labor ring and infiltrate a Department of Defense research lab to stop international terrorists, among others.
