Julia Roberts' marriage to Patrick Bergin turns ugly in Sleeping with the Enemy.

20th Century Fox Home Entertainment released the 1991 thriller film Sleeping With the Enemy, starring Julia Roberts (Eat Pray Love), on Blu-ray for the first time on June 28, 2011.

Directed by Joseph Ruben (The Stepfather), also starring Patrick Bergin (Patriot Games) and Kevin Anderson (Hoffa), the movie concerns unhappily married Laura (Roberts) who lives in constant fear of her domineering and violent husband Martin (Bergin). In order to escape her walled-in life, Laura fakes her own death and flees to a new town and new identity. But when Martin finds out that his wife is not dead, he will stop at nothing to find her.

Sleeping With the Enemy also features the only floppy hat musical montage set to Van Morrison’s “Brown-Eyed Girl” that we’ve ever seen in a mainstream drama movie.

The Blu-ray carries a list price of $24.99.

Here’s the trailer in case you’ve forgotten about this one (floppy hat montage included!):
