Magic MikeHot guys, oiled up and nearly naked — it’s no wonder Magic Mike grossed $113 million at the box office.

The movie stars a lineup of hottie actors as male strippers, including The Lincoln Lawyer‘s Matthew McConaughey (natch), Channing Tatum (Haywire), Alex Pettyfer (I Am Number Four) and Matt Bomer (TV’s White Collar).

But the film isn’t all stripping off clothes amid flashing lights and smoke. There is a story: Stripper Magic Mike (Tatum) takes young dancer The Kid (Pettyfer) under his wing and teaches him about the fine arts of partying, picking up women and making easy money.

Directed by Steven Soderbergh (Contagion), the comedy/drama movie is actually inspired by Tatum’s real life, as he was a stripper prior to making it on the big screen.

Magic Mike, which is rated R, pulled in a big audience in theaters, but it wasn’t just the sexy men in the trailer that attracted moviegoers. The film got good reviews from critics. Said The New Yorker‘s Richard Brody, “Soderbergh has created a spicy yet lucid, surgingly high-energy yet smartly modernistic musical.”

There’s even more hot action on the Blu-ray/DVD Combo pack, which features “hot new fully extended dance scenes!,” according to Warner.

The Blu-ray combo also offers a downloadable and streamable version of the movie via UltraViolet, redeemable through Oct. 16, 2014.
