The Cylons are back. The Battlestar Galactica franchise continues with the spinoff movie Battlestar Galactica: Blood & Chrome.
In the science-fiction film, Luke Pasqualino (TV’s The Borgias) stars as young Captain William Adama during the first Cylon war.
As the battle between humans and the sentient robotic Cylons they created rages across the 12 Colonial worlds, Adama is assigned to the Galactica, one of the more powerful battlestars in the Colonial fleet. Soon, he’s at odds with his co-pilot, battle weary officer Coker (Ben Cotton, TV’s Alcatraz), and the two men must set aside their differences when a routine escort mission turns dangerous and becomes pivotal for the fleet.
The movie is made up of 10 episodes that aired online, and the full film airs on SyFy the same month as the DVD and Blu-ray release. The DVD and Blu-ray contain an unrated version not seen online of on SyFy.
