Knights of BadassdomGame of Thrones‘ Peter Dinklage takes up a fake sword in comedy movie Knights of Badassdom.

Dinklage plays Hung, a dedicated LARPer (Live Action Role Player) along with his friends Joe (Ryan Kwanten, Red Hill) and Eric (Steve Zahn, TV’s Treme). They go in the woods for a dungeons and dragons-like retreat, and accidentally conjure up a blood-lusting succubus from the pits of hell.

Now they’re in the middle of an all-out battle of make-believe wizards, demons and assorted mythical creatures, with their courage and friendships tested.

Knights of Badassdom was directed by Joe Lynch (Wrong Turn 2: Dead End) and co-written by first-time scripters Kevin Dreyfuss and Matt Wall.

The fantasy film was only screened in a handful of theaters and got mixed reviews from critics and moviegoers.

Bonuses on the DVD and Blu-ray include:

  • cast interviews
  • behind-the-scenes featurettes
  • and footage of the movie’s panel at the San Diego Comic-Con.
