Cameron Diaz (The Counselor) and Jason Segel (The Five Year Engagement) and director Jake Kasdan, who teamed up for the well-liked 2011 movie Bad Teacher, reunite in the undeniably salacious–and inferior–comedy Sex Tape.
Jay (Segel) and Annie (Diaz) are a married couple still very much in love, but ten years and two kids have cooled the passion. To get it back, they decide – why not? – to make a video of themselves trying out every position in The Joy of Sex in one three-hour marathon session. It seems like a great idea until they discover that their most private video has been accidentally uploaded to “the cloud” and gone public. In a panic, they begin a wild night of adventure – tracking down leads, roping in friends and duping Annie’s boss – all to reclaim their video, their reputation, their sanity and, most importantly, their marriage.
Sex Tape film also stars includes Rob Corddry (In A World…), Ellie Kemper (Bridesmaids) and Rob Lowe (Knife Fight).
This big-name summer comedy really tanked with both critics and fans, garnering a pathetic 4/10 rating at Rotten Tomatoes based on 114 published reviews and ringing up a very disappointing $34 million at the domestic box office. Maybe it will fare better on home screens, where viewers who get bored can more easily get started on their own sex tapes…!

He explains his love of art, showcasing three large oil paintings that he had commissioned, which were inspired by iconic fairy tale characters, but with his face replacing those characters. The tour continues into Hank’s world as we meet his German Shepherd, Ariel.
