Will Smith and Margot Robbie star in Focus
Will Smith (Men in Black 3) and Margot Robbie (The Wolf of Wall Street) star in the comedy-tinged and occasionally quite-steamy crime drama Focus.
Nicky (Smith) is a seasoned con artist and master of misdirection who becomes romantically involved with shapely novice scammer Jess (Robbie). As he’s teaching her the tricks of the trade, she gets too close for comfort and he abruptly breaks it off. Three years later, the former flame—now an accomplished femme fatale—shows up in Buenos Aires in the middle of the high stakes racecar circuit. In the midst of Nicky’s latest, very dangerous scheme, she throws his plans for a loop…and the consummate con man off his game.
Written and directed by Glenn Ficarra and John Requa (Crazy, Stupid, Love.), the movie also features Rodrigo Santoro (I Love You Phillip Morris) and Gerald McRaney (Get Low) in its cast.
The R-rated flick pulled in a not-bad domestic gross of $53 million during its wide release to theaters in February, 2015.
