A follow-up to 1980’s The Blue Lagoon (another meditation on sun, sea, youth, and sex), Summer Lovers is set in the idyllic, if tourist-ridden, Greek island of Santorini, where a young American couple, Michael (Peter Gallagher, Convict) and Cathy (Daryl Hannah, Kill Bill), encounter an attractive French archaeologist (Valérie Quennessen). Sparks and curiosity fly, and before long, the duo has become a ménage à trois.

The film features a lovely score by Basil Poledouris, which is available on this Twilight Time release as an isolated track.
