Directed by Antoine Fuqua (Olympus Has Fallen), the R-rated Southpaw performed adequately at the domestic box office, grossing some $51 million after it was release wide in theaters in late July, 2015.
DVD special feature include the featurette Southpaw: Inside the Ring, while the Blu-ray comes with special features including deleted scenes, Southpaw: Inside the Ring, a Q&A with the cast” and an extended training montage.
