Film and television icon Joan Collins (TV’s Dynasty) does what she does so well—in the nude!—in the sexy 1978 drama The Stud, based on the 1969 novel by her late sister Jackie Collins.

In The Stud, she portrays Fontaine, the bored wife of a rich businessman and the owner of London’s hottest club, The Hobo. Tony Blake (Oliver Tobias, The Wicked Lady) manages the club, but also doubles as Fontaine’s boy-toy. But with Fontaine’s debauched behavior and erotic demands, Tony secretly plans to break away from his benefactor. When Alexandra, Fontaine’s stepdaughter, grabs Tony’s attention, it will be a battle of seduction as Fontaine stops at nothing to make sure nobody takes her stud.

The erotic semi-classic was followed a year later by a sequel, The Bitch, which was also based on a Jackie Collins bestseller and which is also available through Kino Lorber.
