An official selection from this year’s Sundance Film Festival, the 2017 science fiction thriller Rememory offers the impressive cast of Martin Donovan (TV’s Damages), Peter Dinklage (TV’s Game of Thrones), Julia Ormond (The Music Never Stopped), Henry Ian Cusick (TV’s Lost) and the late Anton Yelchin (The Beaver).

The film offers a tale that begins with the unexplained death of Gordon Dunn (Donovan), a visionary scientific pioneer whose body is found shortly after the unveiling of his newest work: a device able to extract, record and play a person’s memories. Gordon’s wife, Carolyn (Ormond), retreats into her house and cuts off contact with the outside world when a mysterious man (Dinklage) shows up. After stealing the machine, he uses it to try and solve the mystery, beginning an investigation of memories that lead him to unexpected and dangerous places.

The film scored a so-so 22% Fresh Rating at reviews aggregator Rotten Tomatoes; the Blu-ray and DVD include a behind-the-scenes featurette and audio commentary with writer-director Mark Palansky and actor Dinklage.
