The 1965 epic Genghis Khan is a spectacular biopic of the brutal 12th Century Mongolian military genius.

The film features an all-star cast, including Omar Sharif (Che!) in the title role, Stephen Boyd (Ben-Hur) as his longtime rival/mentor, Françoise Dorléac (The Young Girls of Rochefort) as the seductive woman between them, James Mason (Caught) as a Chinese leader, and Eli Wallach (The Good, the Bad and the Ugly) as a ferocious villain. Also on hand are Robert Morley (The African Queen) and  Telly Savalas (The Slender Thread).

Omar Sharif is Ghengis Khan.

Henry Levin (Journey to the Center of the Earth) directs; the epic action – shot primarily in Yugoslavia – was photographed by the great Geoffrey Unsworth (Zardoz).

Special features on this Twilight Time edition of the film include an isolated music and effects track and an original theatrical trailer.
