Blu-ray Release Date: Nov. 20, 2018
Price: Blu-ray $29.95
Studio: Twilight Time

Director-producer Stanley Kramer’s 1973 action-drama, Oklahoma Crude, stars Faye Dunaway (Chinatown) as an independent wildcatter during the pre-World War I oil boom, and George C. Scott (Dr. Strangelove) as a rough-and-tumble oil field drifter who signs on to help her fight the depredations of a big conglomerate (represented, fiendishly, by Jack Palance) bent on taking her well away.

John Mills (In Which We Serve) is also on hand as Dunaway’s n’er-do-well dad, and the great Henry Mancini provides the music, available on this Twilight Time release as an isolated track.

The disc’s other bonus feature is an audio commentary with film historians Lee Pfeiffer and Paul Scrabo.

As supplier Twilight Time prints up only 3,000 copies of each title, be sure to head over to the Twilight Time site or that of distributor Screen Archives NOW so you can put in your prebook order!
