The 2017 biographical sports drama Another Shot, directed by Larry Yang, is a feature film based on the true story of Stephon Marbury’s fall from the NBA and his journey to rediscover his passion in China.

Former NBA superstar Marbury teams up with a group of courageous young professional basketball players in China, who dare to dream of one day winning the country’s professional basketball championship. With some intense training and a supportive coach, Marbury helps bring the team to the Finals where they must face the seven-time championship team, who is considered by most to be unbeatable.

Co-starring Chun Wu, Bing He, Jessica Jung, Loretta Devine (For Colored Girls), and Frankie Faison (The Silence of the Lambs), with special appearances by Allen Iverson and Baron Davis, the Chinese production is directed by Larry Yang.
