From HBO Sports comes Tiger, a two-part documentary offering a revealing look at the rise, fall, and epic comeback of global icon Tiger Woods.

The series paints a picture of the prodigy whose dedication and obsession with the game of golf not only took his fame and success to new heights, but also down a dark, spiraling road that eventually led to a legendary sports comeback, culminating in his victory at the 2019 Masters.

Based on the 2018 biography by Armen Keteyian and Jeff Benedict (who are also executive producers here), the film runs over three hours, but that’s not the whole reason the film is split into two parts.

The first and second parts of this long doc tell two different stories about the same Tiger, with the premiere installment primarily focusing on golf and the follow-up section looking more at Woods the man.
