Rocko snaps into action in LEGO Hero Factory Savage Planet

Another entry in the franchise, the animated feature-length children’s movie LEGO Hero Factory Savage Planet follows those tried-and-true heroic LEGO warriors as they get themselves into, er, interplanetary trouble.

Savage Planet follows rookie Rocka as he responds to a distress call from the planet Quatros. While on his journey, Rocka is taken hostage by former ally and Hero Factory professor, Aldous Witch. Veteran heroes Stormer, Bulk and Stringer, along with rookies Furno and Nex, set out on a mission to rescue Rocka, overcome the mad Witch Doctor and save Quatros’ entire civilization from devastation.

Voice talents returning for this LEGO movie include John Schneider (TV’s Smallville) as Stormer, Malcolm McDowell (A Clockwork Orange) as Mr. Makuro, Henry Winkler (TV’s Happy Days) as Zib and Mark Hamill (Star Wars) as Von Nebula.

Bonus features on the DVD include the new 22-minute LEGO adventure Ordeal of Fire, which finds the heroes combating the evil Fire Lord and his crew.

LEGO Hero Factory Savage Planet premiered on TV’s Nicktoons on Sept. 5, 2011.
