Contest: The White Queen Blu-ray Giveaway

The Starz TV mini-series The White Queen based on Philippa Gregory‘s best-selling novels looks at the classic tale of the War of the Roses, the feud between the York and Lancaster families for the throne of England, from the viewpoint of the women: Elizabeth Woodville (Rebecca Woodville, Vi), Margaret Beaufort (Amanda Hale, TVs Ripper Street) and Anne Neville (Faye Marsay, Is That It?).

The White QueenThe White Queen is filled with love, lust, seduction, deception, betrayal, murder and everything else we’ve come to expect from premium cable television series about the England of yesteryear—and supplier Anchor Bay has provided Disc Dish with two Blu-ray copies of the show to give away to a pair of lucky readers!

A co-production between Starz and the BBC, The White Queen reportedly did very well for Starz but not so well for the BBC, which opted not to continue with the property. The word is that Starz is working with White Queen screenwriter Emma Frost on developing a sequel, The White Princess. Like the original series, it would be based on the book by Philippa Gregory.

But for now, it’s all about The White Queen, which also stars Janet McTeer (The Woman in Black) and Rupert Graves (TV’s Sherlock). The three-disc Blu-ray edition of the show, which will be officially released on Feb. 4, carries a suggested retail price $59.99, but you can enter to win a copy of the Blu-ray at Disc Dish. All you have to do is:
