New Release: One Week DVD

One Week movie scene

Joshua Jackson takes it on the road in One Week.

IFC released the 2008 Canadian adventure/drama One Week starring Joshua Jackson on DVD on March 29, 2011.

In the movie, Jackson (TV’s Fringe) plays Ben Tyler, who, when confronted with his own mortality, impulsively buys a vintage motorcycle and sets off on a road trip across his native Canada, starting in Toronto and ending up on Vancouver Island in the town of Tofino.

Over the course of the man-searching-for-himself journey, Ben ends up in a series of humorous, moving and occasionally profound situations. Moving across the picturesque landscape, Ben ultimately learns what makes his country and his life so beautiful.

Written and directed by Michael McGowan (Score: A Hockey Musical), narrated by Campbell Scott (Handsome Harry) and co-starring Liane Balaban (Definitely, Maybe) and Richard Waugh (Citizen Duane), One Week was originally released on DVD and Blu-ray a couple of years back by 101 Distribution for a much higher price that the $24.98 set by IFC.

No bonus features are on this new DVD.
