The HBO series Big Love lives on in this Complete Collection DVD set.
The five-year TV show follows the trials and tribulations of Bill Henrickson (Bill Paxton, Tombstone), the owner of a chain of hardware stores, and his three wives (Jeanne Tripplehorn of The Firm, Chloe Sevigny of Barry Munday, and Ginnifer Goodwin of Something Borrowed).
Throughout the series, the modern polygamist family expands its business ventures to a Mormon-friendly casino in an Indian reservation; considers taking on a fourth wife; and faces challenges when Bill runs for public office — which kicks up hostility on all sides.
Nominated for a bunch of Emmy and Golden Globe Awards over the years, Big Love won a Golden Globe Best Supporting Actress statue for Sevigny.
The cast also includes Amanda Seyfried (Red Riding Hood), Bruce Dern (Americn Cowslip: A Redneck Comedy) and Harry Dean Stanton (Alien).
