Blu-ray Release Date: Nov. 10, 2015
Price: Blu-ray $29.95
Studio: Twilight Time

Woody Allen’s (Magic in the Moonlight) 1991 film Shadows and Fog is, well, an oxymoronic German Expressionist comedy.

ShadowsAndFog1_optThe movie features an impressive array of stars including Mia Farrow (Broadway Danny Rose), John Malkovich (Places in the Heart), Donald Pleasence (Wake in Fright), Kathy Bates (Tammy), Jodie Foster (Carnage), Lily Tomlin (Admission), John Cusack (Love & Mercy), and Allen himself as a classic nebbish fumbling through a Kafkaesque experience involving a serial killer, a circus, a brothel, and a vigilante mob.

Gorgeously photographed in black and white by the great Carlo Di Palma (The Red Desert, Blowup) and featuring a score by Danny Elfman.

As supplier Twilight Time prints up only 3,000 copies of each title, be sure to keep an eye on the Twilight Time site or that of their distributor Screen Archives’s for the announcement of the prebook date (usually 2-3 weeks before the title’s street date) and get ready to reserve!
