BrainDead: Season One was broadcast earlier this year on CBS.

The science fiction-comedy-drama-horror mash-up TV series stars Mary Elizabeth Winstead (Scott Pilgrim vs. the World), Danny Pino (Law & Order: Special Victims Unit), Aaron Tveit (TV’s Gossip Girl), and Tony Shalhoub (TV’s Monk).

braindead1_optWhen struggling documentary filmmaker Laurel Healy (Winstead) takes a job working with her brother, Senator Luke Healy (Pino), she soon discovers there’s more to Washington than meets the eye. As tensions grow amongst political parties, so does a conspiracy involving alien bugs replacing the brains of several members of congress. The investigation unfolds while the infection spreads. Whatever’s happening, it’s clear this isn’t politics as usual!

In addition to all 13 episode of the first season, the DVD also includes a trio of featurettes, a collection of deleted scenes, and a gag reel.
