New Release: Archer Season 1 DVD

20th Century Fox Home Entertainment released Archer: The Complete Season One on DVD on Dec. 28, 2010, for the suggested retail price of $29.95.

The FX Network’s animated super-spy comedy TV series, which premiered in January, is set at the International Secret Intelligence Service (ISIS), a spy agency where espionage and global crises are merely opportunities for its highly trained covert employees to confuse, undermine, betray and royally screw each other over whenever they get a chance.

The television show features the voices of Jon Benjamin (TV’s Family Guy), Jessica Walter (TV’s Arrested Development), Aisha Tyler (TV’s 24), Judy Greer (27 Dresses) and Chris Parnell (TV’s Saturday Night Live). The series was created by Adam Reed and Floyd County Productions and is executive produced by Reed and Matthew Thompson.

Bonus features on the two-DVD set include the following:

  • original unaired Archer pilot episode
  • an unaired network promo
  • deleted scenes
  • six-part making-of featurette
  • and bonus episodes from the FX programs The League and Louie.
