Into The Woods has been a huge success for Disney since it opened on Christmas Day, earning positive reviews from the critics and ringing up some $128 million at the domestic box office.

Directed by Rob Marshall (Nine) and adapted to the screen by James Lapine from his and his and Stephen Sondheim’s Tony Award-winning Broadway musical of the same name, Into the Woods is a modern twist on the beloved Brothers Grimm fairy tales, intertwining the plots of a few choice stories and exploring the consequences of the characters’ wishes and quests. That said, it follows the classic tales of Cinderella, (Anna Kendrick, Pitch Perfect), Little Red Riding Hood (Lilla Crawford), Jack and the Beanstalk (Daniel Huttlestone), and Rapunzel (MacKenzie Mauzy) – all tied together by an original story involving a baker (James Corden) and his wife (Emily Blunt, Salmon Fishing in the Yemen), their wish to begin a family and their interaction with the witch (Meryl Streep, The Iron Lady) who has put a curse on them.

The Blu-ray and select digital releases will include “She’ll Be Back,” a song penned by Sondheim for Streep to perform in the film. The song, which was shot and later cut from the film prior to release, “sheds a little more light on the Witch’s relationship with Rapunzel,” according to Disney.
