A lively script by William Goldman (Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid) and taut direction by Peter Yates (Breaking Away) provide the keynotes for 1992’s Year of the Comet, a romantic comedy thriller about the pursuit of the most valuable bottle of wine in history.

Timothy Daly (Poliwood), Penelope Ann Miller (Carlito’s Way), and Louis Jourdan (in his last film role) star, racing from Scotland to France, with musical accompaniment from Hummie Mann.
