Power plays, sex and greed motivate some of Washington’s most powerful decision-makers in the political drama TV series House of Cards: Season 5, starring Kevin Spacey (Horrible Bosses) and Robin Wright (The Private Lives of Pippa Lee).

With the morally corrupt President and First Lady, Frank and Claire Underwood (Spacey and Wright), plotting to declare war in an effort to distract from an article revealing their deep, dark secrets, Season Five finds the Underwoods presenting a united front in the White House while continuing to battle for control of the presidency. However, new challengers to the Oval Office threaten to derail their plans.

Created and written by Beau Willimon (The Ides of March), the series also stars Jimmi Simpson (The Big Bang), Molly Parker (TV’s Dexter) and Neve Campbell (54).

An adaptation of the 1990 BBC television miniseries of the same name, House of Cards is a NetFlix Original Series that premiered exclusively on Netflix’s web streaming service several months back.

All 13 episodes of the show will be available on four-disc Blu-ray and four-disc DVD sets.
