From Daniel Alfredson – the director of the 2009 Swedish productions of The Girl Who Played with Fire and The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet’s Nest – comes the mystery thriller Intrigo: Death of an Author, the first entry in a trilogy of Intrigo films.  This film is currently available On Demand.

Based on the novel by international bestselling author Håkan Nesser, Iintrigo: Death of an Author stars Ben Kingsley (Operation Finale) and Benno Fürmann (North Face). It’s about an author who plots the murder of his wife—but her body is never found, and he’s convinced that she’s still alive.

The Blu-ray and DVD include the featurettes “The Making of Intrigo” and “A Portrait of Håkan Nesser.” and will be available for the suggested retail price of $21.99 and $19.98, respectively.
