OblivionTom Cruise (War of the Worlds) and Morgan Freeman (Driving Miss Daisy) star in Oblivion, which also has the distinction of being director Joseph Kosinski’s second visually stunning movie.

Oblivion also is Kosinski’s second feature film period, after the equally beautiful TRON: Legacy.

This science-fiction movie also is based on Kosinski’s own graphic novel, telling the story of a future Earth that’s nearly ruined. The year is 2077, and Cruise plays Jack Harper, a drone repairman on the evacuated planet, which is being salvaged for vital resources. When he rescues a beautiful stranger (Olga Kurylenko, Centurion), Harper triggers a chain of events that leads him question everything he knows.

Andrea Riseborough (Made in Dagenham), Melissa Leo (The Fighter), Zoe Bell (Gamer) and Niklaj Coster-Waldau (TV’s Game of Thrones) also star in the PG-13 movie.
