Blake Lively stays fashionable in The Age of Adaline
Blake Lively (Savages), Michiel Huisman (HBO’s Treme) and Kathy Baker (Take Shelter), along with Harrison Ford (Cowboys & Aliens) and Ellen Burstyn (Interstellar) star in the romantic drama The Age of Adaline.
Blake Lively is Adaline, a 29-year-old woman who survives a near-death experience and from that day on, never grows older. Adaline guards her secret and her heart for eight decades until a charming philanthropist (Michiel Huisman) and his parents (Harrison Ford and Kathy Baker) force Adaline to confront her destiny.
The critics didn’t go ga-ga over the PG-13-rated Adaline, with the film generating a 54% positive rating at Rotten Tomatoes based on 126 published reviews. But audiences dug what they saw, elevating the film to a not-bad $43 million in domestic box office receipts.
