The film centers on an American businessman (Wilson) as he and his family settle into their new home in Southeast Asia. Suddenly finding themselves in the middle of a violent political uprising, they must frantically look for a safe escape as rebels mercilessly attack the city.
Directed by John Erick Dowdle (Devil) and written together and produced with his brother Drew Dowdle (Quarantine), the film didn’t make much noise with the critics or at the box office, where it rang up $27 million upon its limited release in August, 2015. It looks like there could be some cult potential, however…
