In her last film, the musical drama I Could Go On Singing (1963), the legendary Judy Garland (Easter Parade) stars as an American singer who visits London and can’t resist the temptation to meet up once again with a lost love (Dirk Bogarde, The Night Porter) and the now teenaged son she left him to care for many years before.

GarlandBlu_optRonald Neame (The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie) directs, and the title tune is by the incomparable duo of Harold Arlen and E.Y. (“Yip”) Harburg.
