The 10-episode half-hour series, set in Los Angeles, follows Walter Blunt (Stewart), a British import intent on conquering the world of American cable news. Through the platform of his nightly news show, Blunt is on a mission to impart his wisdom and guidance on how Americans should live, think and behave.
Thecomedy also stars Jacki Weaver (The Five-Year Engagement) as Rosalie, Blunt’s tough and motherly producer-manager, and Adrian Scarborough (The King’s Speech) as Harry, Blunt’s manservant. Guest stars include Elisabeth Shue (Piranha) and Jason Schwartzman (The Grand Budapest Hotel).
The DVD includes 20 minutes of in-depth bonus features including commentary on the writing and making of each episode from creator Jonathan Ames.
