Intelligently directed by Sydney Pollack (The Way We Were), 1977’s Bobby Deerfield is a romantic melodrama starring the beautiful young Al Pacino (Scarface) as an American driver on the European racing circuit who falls in love with an impulsive eccentric (Marthe Keller, Fedora).
