New Release: Cut DVD

Cut movie scene

Danielle Lloyd receives no second chances in Cut.

Vanguard will release the 2010 British horror-thriller Cut on DVD on Oct. 25 for the list price of $19.95.

Touted by its makers as “the first horror film shot in one continuous shot,” Cut follows a group of friends who find themselves in a bit of trouble after returning from a cocktail party to a cottage deep in the English woods. After brushing off the notion of urban legends as unbelievable, the good-looking young adults slowly find themselves weaving through their very own horror story.

The movie also stars Zach Galligan (Gremlins), Simon Phillips (The Last Seven), Dominic Burns (Airborne) and British glamor gal Danielle Lloyd.

Cut offers some gimmicky, claustrophobic thrills and an occasional laugh to lighten the tension, or so we’ve heard. With no edits and a hopefully well-thought-out script and design, it could be fun…

The movie received a quick release in theaters in its native England and will pop up in a theater or two in the U.S. in September before its DVD release.

No bonus features have been announced for the Cut DVD.
