While fans mourn the end of their favorite science-fiction television show, Fringe: The Complete Series can be brought home and watched over and over again.
Created by J.J. Abrams (TV’s Lost), Fringe is a little like The X-Files, but with alternate universes and time travel instead of aliens.
The loved TV series, which was nominated for two Emmy Awards, follows FBI agent Olivia Dunham (Anna Torv, The Secret Life of Us) who must work with institutionalized scientist Dr. Walter Bishop (John Noble, The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King) to investigate a storm of unexplained phenomena. Along with Bishop’s son Peter (Joshua Jackson, One Week) and a patient science assistant (Jasika Nicole, She’s Out of My League), the team gets caught up in experiments, time travel and alternate universes.
Blair Brown (Space Cowboys) and Lance Reddick (Won’t Back Down) also star in the show, which ran for five seasons on Fox.
Fringe: The Complete Series includes all the show’s episodes on five DVDs or five Blu-ray discs. The stand-alone set for the fifth and final season also is available.
