Okay, this one opened in England and Europe back in May and June of 2017, and then received a limited theatrical rollout in the U.S. in September. Fast-forward to the results: it fared poorly all around, both at the box office and with the critics, who gave it an averaged a 25% Fresh Rating at aggregator Rotten Tomatoes based on 51 published reviews.

We’d never heard of this movie until we received the press release announcing its digital and disc release, so imagine our surpise when we learning that it stars such heavyweights as Noomi Rapace (Prometheus, Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows), Orlando Bloom (Pirates of the Caribbean franchise), Michael Douglas (Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps), John Malkovich (Places in the Heart) and Toni Collette (The Way, Way Back)! AND that it was helmed by the highly competent veteran filmmaker Michael Apted, who’s directed such solid flicks as Firstborn, The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader and the venerable 7 Up series!

So what went wrong with what appears to be a straight-ahead R-rated spy thriller!?! Well, now’s the time to find out…
